The engine’s performance depends on the right air fuel ratio.

The Map Sensor measures the pressure or vacuum (If the engine is supercharged) in the manifold with respect to the atmospheric pressure. It replaces the mass airflow or volume flow meter.

The engine’s performance depends on the right air fuel ratio. The manifold absolute pressure sensor (MAP sensor) sends data about air in the engine’s manifold to the engine control unit to ensure vehicle is performing at optimal levels.
