PRESSURE RELIEF VALVES

Vernet pressure Relief Valves are safety devices designed to protect a pressurized vessel or system during an overpressure event. The pressure Relief Valve must open at a predetermined set pressure, flow a rated capacity at a specified overpressure, and close when the system pressure has returned to a safe level.

CHECK VALVES

Vernet check valves allow flow in only one direction, The material used is chosen for compatibility with the application environment. The pressure spring of the check valve can also vary depending on the flow requirements. Because of the materials used and type of construction, check valves are very rugged for severe multi-cycle applications. Check valves are typically found in hydraulic systems, priming pumps and fuel systems, such as diesel, bio-diesel and gas.
